Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Armor King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Laid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Armor King. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Armor King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Laid! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Laid fails with a takedown attempt. Laid doesn't succeed with the takedown and King counters with a nice double leg into guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Laid trying to control the position.
King stopping the sweep attempt from Laid. Laid escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. King gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Laid has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but King can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. King trying to control but Laid is working from the bottom. This has been an exciting period of action!
That's one minute gone in the round. Laid lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for King! King tries to hold on but Laid pushes him away. King tries to get back to half guard but can't. Laid jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… King is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by King and Laid has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Laid postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Laid tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Laid thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. King tries to bench press Laid off him but Laid keeps the position. King wants to control but Laid postures up. King is looking for a sweep. Laid tries for a kimura but King is defending well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! King manages to get back to half guard. Laid is thwarting King's attempts to control the position. Laid takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King is defending against the submission attempts here by Laid.
Laid thows a huge punch but King dodges it nicely.
King is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Laid seems to be working for a kimura but King defends the submission attempt. Laid is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. King doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Laid. King wants to control but Laid is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King works his way to full guard. Good work. King looking to sweep here. No luck so far. King is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Laid defends well. King is trying to keep Laid in close.
Laid with a flurry of punches that miss. Laid drops back looking for a leg! King is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and King manages to kick Laid off! Laid jumps back into King's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Laid's corner. There ya go! There ya go! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mike Laid will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Laid misses with a takedown and King counters by clinching up. Laid turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Laid manages to end up in side control. King is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Laid's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. King trying to control from the bottom.
Laid is nestled in close to King, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King is looking for a sweep. Laid is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Laid is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Laid throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Laid is working for a kimura but King is defending it quite comfortably.
King regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Laid.
That's one minute gone in the round. Laid lands a couple of decent looking shots. King pushes Laid off and gets back to his feet.
King shoots in for a takedown but Laid shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Mike Laid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. King closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Laid is trying to improve his position. King is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Laid has escaped the position, nice work there. King controlling the position from side mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Laid is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. King gets to mount! Laid was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Laid tries to reverse the position but King maintains control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Laid is trying to reverse the position but instead King has taken his back - oops!
That's three minutes gone in the round. King is trying to stick to Laid's back but Laid is turning into King. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in King's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Laid. Laid has gone for a leg lock! King slips out almost immediately though and dives into Laid's guard. King trying to control the position from guard on top but Laid is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Laid is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
King wants to control from the top but Laid keeps moving. Laid is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. King is defending against the submission attempts here by Laid.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Laid is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so King is just riding it out for now. Laid eventually gives up the hold. King trying to control from the bottom.
Laid looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Laid drops an elbow to the side of King's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Laid showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
King tries to score a power double leg takedown but Laid sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten King somewhat. King shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Laid sprawls well. Laid wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. King gets slowly back to his feet. Laid will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Laid changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. King tries to avoid it but Laid manages to keep hold of a leg and drag King to the ground. King escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. King shoots in looking for a takedown but Laid manages to keep the fight standing, pushing King's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Armor King. That's going to take a lot out of him. Laid with a poor takedown and King counters with an outside leg kick.
Nice sprawl there from King as Laid shoots in. King shoots in and gets a takedown into Laid's guard. Laid wants to sweep but no luck. Laid is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Laid takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. King wants to control from the top but Laid keeps moving.

King throws a big elbow that misses. King wanted to stand there but Laid had control of the position. Laid tries to land a sweep but no joy. King wants to control from the top but Laid keeps moving. King has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Laid wants to sweep but no luck.

King pushes down on Laid's leg and manages to get into half guard. Laid wants to get back to full guard. King is keen to just control but Laid is a slippery customer. Laid might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control King haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. King is looking to stand up but Laid won't let him. Armor King has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mike Laid is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Laid looking for a sweep. Not yet Laid, not yet.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Armor King. I think Laid has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
