Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nueve Cinco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Goins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rich Goins! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cinco tries to clinch up. Goins throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Goins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cinco tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Goins is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cinco. Goins takes a kick to the side of the head. Cinco is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Cinco is looking to clinch but Goins is avoiding it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cinco looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Cinco tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Goins paws at him with a jab and circles away. Cinco moves in looking to clinch but Goins pushes him off. Cinco fails in his attempt to clinch. Cinco tries a head kick but it misses.
Goins manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cinco on his heels. He'll look to pass Cinco's guard now, I'm sure. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Goins trying to control but Cinco is working from the bottom.

Rich Goins has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Goins goes for a double leg but Cinco avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cinco continues to drive forward. Cinco tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Goins is trying to break the clinch but Cinco has him pressed against the cage. Goins blocks an elbow strike from Cinco.
Goins is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Cinco has Goins pressed against the cage, preventing Goins from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Goins tries to break free but Cinco pushes him back against the cage. Cinco tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Cinco lands a shoulder strike. Cinco has a couple of punches blocked by Goins.

Goins tries to break the clinch but Cinco is controlling the position. Cinco gets through Goins's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Cinco is pressed up against the cage. Goins has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cinco down to the mat. Cinco avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Cinco closes the distance and clinches. A short right from Cinco on the inside. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nueve Cinco will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Cinco stuffs the takedown attempt from Goins. Goins gets slowly back to his feet. Cinco wants to clinch. Nueve Cinco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cinco tries to clinch up and Goins counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cinco's guard now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Goins passes Cinco's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Goins is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Cinco has managed to free his arm - good work. Cinco is not content to let Goins control the position. Goins is looking for a kimura here.

Goins seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cinco does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Goins is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goins is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cinco doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Goins. Cinco avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Goins.

Goins with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Goins is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cinco is just riding it out for now. Rich Goins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Cinco uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Goins. Cinco tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Goins paws at him with a jab and circles away. Goins takes a swing at Cinco's ribcage but misses. Goins looks for a takedown but Cinco sprawls well. Cinco tries to close the distance and clinch but Goins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cinco tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cinco is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Goins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cinco tries to avoid it but Goins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cinco to the ground. Cinco escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Goins keeps the fight on the outside. Cinco doesn't manage to clinch there - Goins circles away.
Cinco lands with a kick to the temple. Goins shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Cinco is looking to clinch but Goins is avoiding it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cinco defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Goins. Nueve Cinco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rich Goins. Goins throws a leg kick and Cinco counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Goins is lucky that one didn't land flush. Goins darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Goins tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cinco knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Goins trying to control the action but Cinco is working from the bottom. Goins is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goins seems to be working for a kimura but Cinco defends the submission attempt. Goins uses his free foot to push down on Cinco's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Cinco. Cinco is squirming around, avoiding Goins's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Goins is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Cinco has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Cinco! A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Goins holds on and takes a little breather. Cinco preventing the sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Rich Goins was stalling too much, according to the referee. Cinco goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Goins pivots, looking for a leg kick but Cinco is out of range and Goins settles back down. Nueve Cinco is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cinco gets a clinch. Goins avoids the elbow strike from Cinco, against the cage.
Cinco throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Goins jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cinco walks away with a smile on his face. Goins gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Cinco clinches up with Goins and pushes him back against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Rich Goins. I think Goins has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
