Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knowshon Zavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mirko Liddell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Knowshon Zavier!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Bruno Lombardi and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zavier lands a really nice looking cross but Liddell seems unphased.
Liddell doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Zavier counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Liddell is breathing heavily.
Zavier moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Zavier lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Liddell tries for a takedown but Zavier circles away easily
and Zavier counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Liddell is rocked!
Zavier gets in close and tags Liddell with a short punch that almost sends Liddell to the mat! Oh Liddell is in big trouble! He turns his back on Zavier, trying to create some distance but Zavier rushes him, striking wildly and Liddell goes down! The referee tackles Zavier into the cage to end the fight! Zavier is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Knowshon Zavier!
