Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Thor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Layonel Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson Thor could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Layonel Marshall's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thor manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Marshall on his heels. He'll look to pass Marshall's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Thor thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Thor stops Marshall from standing up.
Thor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Thor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Marshall escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Marshall is looking for a triangle but Thor pushes his legs off easily.
Thor postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Marshall is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Thor, into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marshall got a little sloppy there for a moment and Thor has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Marshall has managed to get both his arms back between Thor's legs - danger averted.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Thor is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Thor working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Marshall doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Thor is tightening it up a little... Marshall has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Marshall reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Marshall taps out! Nice BJJ there by Thor!
