Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Assassin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wayne Kerr will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marco Assassin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Wayne Kerr! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kerr throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Assassin. Kerr moves into the clinch. Kerr tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Assassin takes a knee to the side of the body. Kerr scores with a knee to the head.
Assassin tries to score a body lock takedown but Kerr shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Assassin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kerr gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Kerr stalling against the cage.
Kerr breaks the clinch.
Kerr wants to clinch but Assassin slips to the side and Assassin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kerr's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Assassin works a leg free and moves into half guard. Assassin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Assassin tries to pass to full mount but Kerr defends it. Kerr wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kerr has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Assassin is working away from the top position though. Assassin is trying to work for a kimura but Kerr is defending well.

Kerr has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Kerr is trying to control but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Assassin has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Assassin is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Assassin extends the arm and Kerr is forced to tap!
