Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Piotr Witczak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Udang Rudy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Piotr Witczak has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Piotr Witczak seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rudy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Witczak circles away.
Witczak misses with a body kick.
Rudy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Witczak is fending him off so far but Rudy persists. Nope, Witczak circles away and we're back to standing.
Rudy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Witczak tries to avoid it but Rudy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Witczak to the ground. Witczak escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Piotr Witczak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Udang Rudy.
Witczak stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Witczak wants it to stay on the feet.
Witczak shoots in looking for a takedown. Rudy tries to sprawl out of it but Witczak keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rudy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Witczak lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rudy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rudy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rudy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Witczak swivels and escapes.
Horrible takedown by Rudy or perhaps it was just good defense by Witczak which made him look bad.
Rudy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rudy showed some decent athleticism there.
Witczak wants to improve his position but Rudy is controlling well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Udang Rudy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
