Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adolfo Dias! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mirko McCracken! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCracken throws a poor cross that misses
and Dias counters with a nice kick to the body. Dias throws a quick inside leg kick. McCracken connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dias. Dias circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Adolfo Dias has been cut. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dias. McCracken throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McCracken misses with a hook
and Dias cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. McCracken dips down and scores with a jab to the body. McCracken fails to land with a series of punches.
McCracken feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dias sprawling to the canvas! Dias rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McCracken finish him?!
McCracken lands a big uppercut and Dias crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Dias looks OK. McCracken waves Dias back to his feet!
Dias is rocked!
Adolfo Dias's cut is getting worse. Dias throws the kick towards the body but McCracken avoids it. McCracken throws a sloppy head kick and Dias moves out of range easily. Dias keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A big left from Dias misses. Dias will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dias throws the kick towards the body but McCracken avoids it. McCracken falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dias counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Jab from Dias. Dias connects with a leg kick. McCracken looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Dias missing with a left hand there. McCracken was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Dias uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McCracken.

McCracken lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dias circles away quickly and effectively. This has been an exciting period of action! Dias connects with a leg kick. McCracken looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Dias scores with a slapping inside leg kick. McCracken misses with a few strikes there.
McCracken throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dias sees it coming and avoids it easily. Dias throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McCracken stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Dias with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

A jab from Dias does it's job there. Dias moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Dias lands a leg kick that knocks McCracken off balance momentarily. McCracken goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Dias blocks a head kick by McCracken.
McCracken looks winded! Dias darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCracken dips to his left and cracks Dias with an uppercut! A combination from McCracken does no damage. McCracken takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Dias uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from McCracken. Dias avoids the head kick by McCracken.
McCracken throws a right hand that misses
and Dias counters with a body kick. Dias fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McCracken has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. McCracken takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
McCracken's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dias thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on McCracken if he has to take too many more of those.

McCracken looks to land a right hand but Dias moved out of range. Dias moves out of range of the body kick. McCracken is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dias. McCracken has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Dias. McCracken takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

and Dias counters with a straight right hand. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dias fakes the leg kick and cracks McCracken in the body. A good leg kick by Dias. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Adolfo Dias will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Adolfo Dias's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dias looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Dias fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McCracken. Dias throws a front kick that sends McCracken stumbling back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dias slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Dias tries to land a front kick but McCracken steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. McCracken swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Dias throws a nice inside leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dias looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

McCracken crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Dias - the referee stops the clock and McCracken gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Dias. McCracken manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Dias thuds his right hand into McCracken's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Dias throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but McCracken might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Dias has got the better of the exchanges. McCracken swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dias counters with a leg kick. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Dias. McCracken shrugs it off though. Dias misses with an attempted mid kick.

Dias avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Dias shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. McCracken eats them both and turns towards Dias to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Dias slips under a jab. McCracken moves out of range of the body kick from Dias.
