Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tank Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moloch Goddie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goddie clinches up with Tyson and pushes him back against the cage.
Tyson wants to break the clinch but can't.
Tyson is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Goddie as Tyson tries to tie him up.
Goddie jumps guard but Tyson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Goddie misses with a knee strike.
Tyson is trying to pull guard but Goddie has him pressed against the cage.
Tyson has had enough of the clinch but Goddie keeps him there for the moment.
Goddie is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Tyson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Goddie's efforts to push away.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Tyson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Goddie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tyson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

and Goddie holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Goddie ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Goddie no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Tank Tyson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Tyson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Goddie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tyson somewhat.
Goddie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tyson swivels and escapes.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tyson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Goddie defends well and Tyson ends up having to push Goddie into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Tank Tyson will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Goddie closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Goddie is working for a submission of some sort.
Tyson is trying is best to control the position here.
Goddie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tyson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Tyson is looking for a sweep. Goddie is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Tank Tyson just wasn't active enough.

Tyson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Goddie defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tyson.
Tyson wants to clinch up but Goddie keeps it at a distance.

Goddie darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Goddie wants to control from the top but Tyson keeps moving.

Tyson pulls Goddie in close to his closed guard and prevents Goddie from doing any damage or advancing position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tyson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Goddie is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Tyson shoots in for a double leg but Goddie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tyson shoots in but Goddie avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Tyson gets tackled into the cage by Goddie. Goddie maintains the clinch.

Tyson is looking to control Goddie's arms but Goddie gets an underhook and turns him. Now Tyson has his back to the cage.

Goddie tries to pull guard but Tyson won't allow it.
Goddie tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tyson smiles and moves away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Tyson wants to break free but Goddie has control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tyson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Goddie is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Tyson to the mat. Tyson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tyson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Moloch Goddie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Goddie shoots and misses

Tyson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Goddie keeps working.

Tyson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Goddie for as long as he can get away with.

Goddie wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Tyson has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Goddie's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Goddie is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Tyson!
