Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brain Smasher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francisco Vaquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smasher throws out a powerful jab.
Smasher feints and as Vaquez raises his hands in defense, Smasher changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vaquez wants to sweep but no luck.
Vaquez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Smasher controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Smasher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vaquez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Smasher is in close to Vaquez's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Smasher is working Vaquez over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Vaquez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Smasher gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Vaquez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Smasher can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Vaquez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Smasher keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Vaquez's head.
