The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holloway drives through with a takedown into Pollard's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Holloway content to stall in guard here.
Pollard avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Holloway is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Holloway looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
