Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evan Sherls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeppelin Macmoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Evan Sherls! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zeppelin Macmoon! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sherls gets a clinch. Macmoon looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Stalling in the clinch from Sherls.
Macmoon connects with a nasty looking knee right to Sherls's face.
It looks like Evan Sherls has been cut. Macmoon breaks the clinch.
Sherls instigates a clinch. Macmoon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sherls smiles and moves away.
Sherls tries to clinch but Macmoon is having none of it. Sherls closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Sherls looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Macmoon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Sherls content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Sherls has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sherls is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sherls is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Macmoon is in trouble now - Sherls has advanced to mount! Sherls has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sherls controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Evan Sherls just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Sherls shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Sherls moves to the back position. Sherls really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Macmoon. Macmoon rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Macmoon is trying to control but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sherls perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Sherls seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Macmoon for as long as he can get away with. Sherls is nestled in close to Macmoon, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Sherls gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Macmoon wants to clinch but Sherls slips to the side so Sherls counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sherls is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Sherls stands and steps away. Macmoon gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sherls looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sherls seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Macmoon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Macmoon is looking to escape. Sherls is looking for a kimura but Macmoon is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sherls to get the leverage. Sherls is trying to control the action in half guard but Macmoon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Sherls content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Evan Sherls dominated that round. The cut man is working on Evan Sherls's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Sherls bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Sherls stands up and we're back to a striking position. Sherls gets the takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sherls lands a decent elbow from side control. Sherls decides to stand back up. Sherls steps back and let's Macmoon get back to his feet. Sherls looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Macmoon dodges the punch combination from Sherls.
Macmoon takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Macmoon is breathing heavily. Sherls drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sherls decides to take the fight back to the feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sherls throws a head kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sherls. Sherls looks for a takedown but Macmoon sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Evan Sherls. That's going to take a lot out of him. Macmoon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Evan Sherls is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Macmoon tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Sherls decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Macmoon's guard. Macmoon is looking for a triangle but Sherls pushes his legs off easily.
Sherls controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Sherls thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Sherls sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sherls stands and throws Macmoon's legs to the side, diving into side control. Sherls staying calm.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sherls moves into full mount! Sherls looking to finish Macmoon with some ground and pound. This is bad for Macmoon! Sherls landing punches. Sherls is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Macmoon can do to turn this around? Sherls controlling his opponent.

Sherls tries to score a body lock takedown but Macmoon shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Sherls goes for a takedown attempt but Macmoon pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Macmoon takes the fight into the clinch. Macmoon throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Sherls just leaning against Macmoon, taking a breather. Macmoon tries a knee to the head but Sherls blocks it.
Sherls wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Sherls jumps guard but Macmoon stands there with Sherls around his waist. Sherls gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sherls tries to pull guard but Macmoon won't allow it.

Macmoon gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Macmoon scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sherls is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Sherls manages to escape and get back to his feet!
That's one minute gone in the round. Macmoon gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Macmoon looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Sherls is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Sherls slips nicely into half guard. Sherls is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Macmoon! Sherls in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sherls cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Zeppelin Macmoon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Macmoon tries to get back to half guard but can't. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sherls decides to stand up, so the ref orders Macmoon to his feet. Sherls throws a shot to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Evan Sherls showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sherls, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
