Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Malcolm Dodson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Estella (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Malcolm Dodson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Juan Estella!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dodson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Dodson pulls guard effortlessly.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Estella postures up.
Dodson is adopting a defensive guard.
Estella controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dodson keeping moving, preventing Estella from controlling successfully.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Juan Estella wasn't active enough on the ground.
Estella changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dodson tries to avoid it but Estella manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dodson to the ground. Dodson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Estella tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dodson defends well and Estella ends up having to push Dodson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Dodson prevents a takedown attempt there.
Malcolm Dodson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Estella.
Estella wants a takedown.
Estella slowing the pace effectively.
Estella gets underhooks to prevent Dodson's takedown attempt.

Estella manages to break the clinch.
Dodson dives in and grabs Estella's left leg, looking for a takedown. Estella pushes down on Dodson's head and hops out.
Estella fails with a takedown attempt.
Estella throws a head kick that misses.

Estella moves into range and clinches up with Dodson.
Estella fails to pull guard.
Dodson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Estella just stands there and leans against the cage.

Estella misses with a punch to the body.
Estella misses with a hook to the ribs.

Estella breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Dodson counters with a nice uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Estella shoots in for a takedown but Dodson shows good takedown defense.
Juan Estella seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Estella tries to clinch up.
Estella tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Dodson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Estella fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Dodson rushes Estella and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Estella ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Estella no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Dodson drops back looking for a leg! Estella is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Estella manages to kick Dodson off! Dodson jumps back into Estella's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Estella is looking to stand up but Dodson isn't so interested in that idea.

Dodson stands up and waves to Estella to follow him.
Estella has a takedown stuffed.

Dodson moves into the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Estella landing knees to the body.
Dodson is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dodson takes an elbow to the forehead.

It looks like Malcolm Dodson has been cut.
A left hand lands to the body for Estella.
Estella lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Estella will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Dodson up against the cage.

Estella breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Estella crunches a lovely knee into Dodson's ribcage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Estella misses with a body punch.

Estella breaks from the clinch.
Estella tries to close the distance and clinch but Dodson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dodson wants to stay close but Estella steps back to make room for something. Dodson seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Estella and Dodson drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Juan Estella!
