Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Dirty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kid's choice of entrance music: Bob Dylan - Hurricane. Billy Kid has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Joe Dirty's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dirty has managed to clinch.
Kid swings wildly with an uppercut but Dirty uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dirty lands a nice shot to the body.
Dirty prevents a body shot from Kid.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dirty creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Billy Kid has been cut.

I was talking to Dirty's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Dirty tries to work over Kid's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Kid lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Dirty tries to throw a body punch but Kid avoids it by throwing Dirty back against the cage.

Kid tries to break free but Dirty pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kid throws a punch but it's blocked by Dirty.
Dirty blocks an uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Dirty dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Dirty cracks Kid with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kid looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Dirty finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dirty walks into a left hand.
Billy Kid is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Left hook, right uppercut from Kid.
Dirty feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kid sprawling to the canvas! Kid rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dirty finish him?!
Kid is rocked!
Dirty finds Kid's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Kid flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Dirty lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Kid will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joe Dirty!
