Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Drew Jach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uriah Chesnokov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Drew Jach!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Uriah Chesnokov!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chesnokov connects with a right hand. Jach shakes it off.

Chesnokov takes the fight into the clinch.

Chesnokov clinches up with Jach and pushes him back against the cage.

Chesnokov works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Chesnokov's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Chesnokov throws a big right hand that misses.
Chesnokov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Uriah Chesnokov wasn't active enough on the ground.
Jach fails with the takedown

and Chesnokov decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jach's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Drew Jach.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chesnokov can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jach wants to control from the top but Chesnokov keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Drew Jach wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Jach takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Chesnokov closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Chesnokov scores with a knee to the head.

Chesnokov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jach shoots in looking for a takedown. Chesnokov tries to sprawl out of it but Jach keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chesnokov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Drew Jach. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Chesnokov jumps guard and drags Jach to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Chesnokov not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Chesnokov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Chesnokov has control of Jach's left arm, preventing Jach from doing any damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jach throws a big right hand that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jach wants to clinch.
Jach fails to land the takedown.
Jach lets loose with a powerful body kick. Chesnokov will feel that in the morning.

Chesnokov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jach napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Chesnokov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jach. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jach is trying to control Chesnokov's posture but Chesnokov avoids it.

Jach is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Chesnokov's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Chesnokov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Chesnokov showed some decent athleticism there.
Jach makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jach.

Chesnokov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Uriah Chesnokov has got the better of the ground game so far.

Chesnokov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Chesnokov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jach manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Chesnokov has Jach in his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chesnokov is striking off his back. Jach thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

Chesnokov throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Jach manages to pass to side control.

Chesnokov pushes Jach away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Jach gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Chesnokov can't do much from the bottom here.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Uriah Chesnokov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!



Chesnokov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Chesnokov swings around for an armbar but Jach sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Chesnokov's guard.

You can see the frustration on Chesnokov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Chesnokov is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Jach is staying active.
Chesnokov might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jach haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Jach is looking to take a break and control but Chesnokov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Chesnokov throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Uriah Chesnokov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Chesnokov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
