Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Isreal Parsons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffrey Molina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeffrey Molina has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Isreal Parsons! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeffrey Molina! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.
![](https://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/round1.jpg) The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Molina looks for a takedown but Parsons sprawls well. Molina darts in looking for a takedown but Parsons gets double underhooks and turns Molina into the cage.
Molina wants the takedown. Parsons is fighting it off but Molina persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Parsons's guard against the cage. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Molina distracts Parsons with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Molina sitting in guard here, content to control. Molina postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Parsons trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Molina is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Parsons utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

and Molina counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Molina. Parsons tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Molina just stands there and leans against the cage.
Molina drags the fight down to the ground.
Molina pulls Parsons in to control the position. Molina throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Parsons gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Molina drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Parsons is letting Molina control him for a moment.

Parsons takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Molina cracks Parsons with an elbow. That is naaassty. Molina lands an elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parsons is breathing heavily. Molina in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Check out the look on Molina's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Parsons is rocked! Molina lands some shots froms side control. Oh Parsons is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Molina cracks Parsons with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Molina immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Parsons is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Molina!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeffrey Molina! Jeffrey Molina seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
