Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Tennant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Bellamy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Tennant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Samuel Bellamy! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tennant misses with a straight right. Tennant circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tennant swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bellamy tries to grapple but his opponent circles enabling Tennant to counter with a crisp jab. Tennant lands a really nice looking cross but Bellamy seems unphased.
Samuel Bellamy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A combination from Bellamy does no damage. Bellamy darts in trying to clinch and Tennant counters with a lovely straight right hand! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bellamy has managed to clinch.
Bellamy misses with an elbow over the top. I was talking to Tennant's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. A head punch blocked on the inside by Bellamy. Bellamy blocking some punches.
Tennant lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bellamy backwards. Tennant tries to break the clinch but Bellamy is controlling the position. Bellamy tries a knee to the head but Tennant blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tennant on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Tennant is trying to force a seperation but Bellamy has the dominant position. Tennant working hard to break the clinch. Tennant is trying to break the clinch but Bellamy has him pressed against the cage. Tennant wants to break the clinch but can't.

Tennant gets tackled into the cage by Bellamy. Bellamy maintains the clinch. Bellamy tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Bellamy lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Bellamy tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Tennant avoids it. Bellamy tries to land a knee to the head but Tennant blocks with his arms.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tennant blocks an elbow strike. Tennant tries to break free but Bellamy pushes him back against the cage. Tennant misses with a short punch on the inside. Bellamy has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. So far he's outscoring his opponent in the clinch so it seems to have been worthwhile. Tennant on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Bellamy using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Tennant has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Tennant wants to break free but Bellamy has control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bellamy misses with an elbow strike.
Tennant swings wildly with an uppercut but Bellamy uses good head movement to avoid it. Tennant breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tennant swats away the attempt to clinch by Bellamy. Bellamy defending well as Tennant loads up on a big left hand. Bellamy rushes Tennant and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Still in the clinch, Tennant scores with a nice short uppercut. Tennant wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bellamy has him pressed against the cage. Tennant tries to break free but Bellamy pushes him back against the cage. A short right from Tennant. Tennant misses with some punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tennant breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tennant throws a looping overhand right but Bellamy ducks down to avoid it. A big left from Tennant misses. Bellamy staying out of range there. Bellamy wants to clinch. Tennant throws a hook but Bellamy blocks it. Good exchange - Tennant coming out on top. Tennant pushes Bellamy up against the cage in a clinch. Tennant pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bellamy throws a head kick but Tennant moves out of range.
Tennant looks to land a left hand but Bellamy moved out of range nicely. Bellamy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Tennant is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Bellamy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tennant, as that shot connected.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bellamy wants to clinch but Tennant slips to the side and Tennant connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A decent looking cross lands there for Bellamy. Bellamy tries to close the distance and clinch but Tennant swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A lazy left from Tennant finds it's target.
Bellamy is rocked! Bellamy avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bellamy ducks under a wild hook from Tennant. Bellamy clinches up with Tennant and pushes him back against the cage. Tennant on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
A nice left hand lands by Bellamy.
A head punch on the inside from Tennant fails to land. Tennant is looking to break free of the clinch but Bellamy has double underhooks. A nice left hand lands by Tennant.
Bellamy is still on wobbly legs! Can Tennant finish him? Tennant misses with some punches.
Tennant manages to break the clinch.
Bellamy moves to clinch but Tennant breaks away and Tennant counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Bellamy out cold! What a finish! Tennant is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). David Tennant! A relieved looking David Tennant thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
