The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkins tried to score with a low kick but Spartan checks it.
Wilkins looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Wilkins takes a swing at Spartan's ribcage but misses.
Wilkins swings for the body but Spartan moves out of range.
Spartan lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Wilkins throws a sloppy head kick and Spartan moves out of range easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wilkins.
CJ Wilkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spartan ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Spartan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

and Spartan counters with a nice low kick that buckles Wilkins's knee momentarily.

A frustrated look appears on Spartan's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Wilkins throws a chopping leg kick but Spartan manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
