Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plessis fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sesay has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Sesay is looking to clinch but Plessis is avoiding it.
Sesay shoots in but Plessis avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sesay shoots for a takedown but Plessis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sesay shoots in looking for a takedown. Plessis tries to sprawl out of it but Sesay keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Plessis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Afoa Sesay. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sesay chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Plessis can pounce on him.
Plessis fakes the leg kick and cracks Sesay in the body.
Sesay is breathing heavily.
Sesay tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Plessis lands with a nice body kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Plessis scores with a kick to the body.
Sesay walks forward, straight into a front kick from Plessis.
Sesay takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sesay tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A nice inside leg kick there by Plessis. That's going to slow Sesay down.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sesay. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Plessis instigates a clinch.
Plessis lands a good knee to the midsection. Sesay won't want to take too many of those.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice elbow from Plessis.
Plessis effectively controlling the action here.
Plessis using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sesay has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Sesay tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Plessis smiles and moves away.
Sesay stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Plessis.
Plessis connects with a body shot that sends Sesay's belly button to the back.
Plessis buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A jab lands there for Plessis.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Plessis lands a big head kick that sends Sesay tumbling to the mat! Plessis takes a step backwards and waves Sesay back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Sesay is rocked!
It looks like Afoa Sesay has been cut.
Nomzamo Plessis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Plessis connects with a leg kick. Sesay looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Oh Sesay is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Plessis throws a nice inside leg kick.
Plessis thuds his shin into the meat of Sesay's side.
Plessis feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sesay sprawling to the canvas! Sesay rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Plessis finish him?!
Plessis throws a powerful right kick. Sesay tried to block low but the kick was high! Sesay was taken right off of his feet! Plessis jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Nomzamo Plessis!
