Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brad Dogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lj Gibbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gibbs is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: LJ Gibbs. Lj Gibbs is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brad Dogers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lj Gibbs! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gibbs shoots for a double leg takedown but Dogers sprawls well. He's pushed Gibbs's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A slapping leg kick lands for Gibbs.
Gibbs feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Dogers keeping moving, preventing Gibbs from controlling successfully. Gibbs stands up and waves to Dogers to follow him. No luck with that takedown attempt from Dogers. Gibbs closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dogers circles away. A punch combination from Gibbs misses. Dogers has his takedown stuffed and Gibbs counters with a nice body kick.
Nice body kick from Gibbs. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dogers shoots in for a takedown but Gibbs shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brad Dogers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gibbs closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dogers to the mat! Dogers manages to get full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gibbs in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Dogers avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Gibbs controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Dogers keeping moving, preventing Gibbs from controlling successfully. Gibbs thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gibbs wants to control from the top but Dogers keeps moving. Gibbs is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Gibbs decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gibbs fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dogers to the ground. Gibbs is now in Dogers's guard. Gibbs stands up and waves to Dogers to follow him. Gibbs throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dogers was covering up waiting for the punch and Gibbs finishes the takedown easily into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gibbs lands a couple of digs. Gibbs gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Dogers misses with a few strikes there.
Gibbs tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dogers defends well and Gibbs ends up having to push Dogers into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Gibbs breaks from the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gibbs throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Gibbs throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dogers on the side of the head. A momentary lapse in concentration from Dogers enables Gibbs to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dogers manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Gibbs stands up and waves to Dogers to follow him. Gibbs misses with a series of wild punches.
Gibbs drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gibbs trying to control the position but Dogers is working away. Dogers prevents Gibbs from improving position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gibbs has hold of Dogers's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dogers seems comfortable defending it but Gibbs has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dogers is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dogers is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gibbs couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Lj Gibbs! Lj Gibbs gave a mention to Das Labor in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
