Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Smoke the Fire. Storm has chosen ThunderStruck as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Smith does no damage.
Smith misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Storm is defended easily by Smith.
Smith scores with a takedown into Storm's guard.
Our spies down at at Sydney Elite Systems inform us that Storm has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Storm escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Smith gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
