The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Watson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Jones feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Watson sprawling to the canvas! Watson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jones finish him?!
It looks like Dominic Watson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Watson tries to keep at a distance but Jones has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jones is trying to force a seperation but Watson has the dominant position.
Jones wants to break free but Watson has control.
Jones has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jones knocks out Watson with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Jones before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Jones picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Danny Jones!
