Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Best closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Santos to the mat! Santos manages to get full guard.
Best might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Best is fighting to break Santos's control of his arms but Santos is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Santos wants to sweep here but Best controlling him for the moment.
Santos is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Best throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Santos works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Best drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Santos manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Best has Santos in his guard.
Best really is a fat lump.

Best avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Best is looking to stand up but Santos isn't so interested in that idea.

Best flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Best is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Santos pulls his head out easily.

Santos is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Best wants to get back to his feet.
Santos seems to be looking for submissions.
Best is concentrating on defense, preventing Santos from advancing position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Best is trying to maintain the position but Santos is very close to passing his half guard.
Santos is just content to waste time from the top position. Best takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Billy Best will probably get the nod.

Santos controls Best momentarily but Best frees himself.
Santos working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Best doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Santos is tightening it up a little... Best has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Best reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Best taps out! Nice BJJ there by Santos!
