Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alonso Durant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Tupac -Ambitionz Az A Ridah. Alonso Durant has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durant bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Durant looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Silva is avoiding damage well.
Durant is chipping away with strikes.
Durant looks up at the clock and then as Silva takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Durant smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sloppy strikes there by Durant.
Silva is pushing Durant's head away, looking to escape. Durant manages to hold on to the position though.
Silva is not content to let Durant control the position.
Durant goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Silva has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Durant but great work by Silva.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Durant shoots in for a double leg but Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Silva fails to land with a series of punches.

It looks like Alonso Durant has been cut.
Durant looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Silva tries to clinch there but Durant circles away.

Silva creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Durant is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Durant is trying to trip Silva. He has hold of a leg but Silva is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Durant persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Silva had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Durant is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Silva Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Durant's back instead.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

That was a close round but I would say that Gary Silva will probably get the nod.

and Silva makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Silva is looking to stand up but Durant isn't so interested in that idea.
Durant stands up over Silva, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Durant really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Silva is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Durant thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Silva tries to escape but Durant is in control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Durant feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Durant manages to pass to side control.

Durant is nestled in close to Silva, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Silva strikes from the bottom but Durant passes into mount!

Durant tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Durant won't let Silva get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Durant cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Durant has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Silva's face.
Durant is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Silva can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

BOOM! Durant connects with a massive shot to the dome!
And that's the end of the fight!
Alonso Durant comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Durant has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
