Berzins takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Guto Silveira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silveira fails to land with a series of punches.

No joy there for Silveira, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The crowd cheers as Silveira lands an impressive looking overhand right. Berzins doesn't seem phased though.

Berzins has Silveira pressed against the cage. He pushes Silveira back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Berzins throws a beautiful elbow that sends Silveira crashing to the floor! Berzins piles on the pressure with more strikes! Silveira is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrew Berzins!
