Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Burgess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Rave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burgess comes to the cage accompanied by travis barker push em. Rave is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by What Happened?. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 17 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anthony Burgess! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Craig Rave! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice combination there by Rave.
Anthony Burgess seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Burgess tries to land a body kick and Rave counters with a nice double leg into side control. Burgess won't be happy with that. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Burgess tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rave wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Burgess is working hard here to advance position. Burgess regains half guard. Rave seems to be working for a kimura but Burgess defends the submission attempt. Burgess is looking to improve his position.

Rave not landing any meaningful shots this time. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Rave working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Rave is controlling the pace.
Rave is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rave is pressing down on Burgess's thigh, looking to free his foot. Burgess is holding on for now. Burgess trying to control from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rave sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Burgess defending well though. Burgess wants to improve his position but Rave is controlling well.
Burgess is positioning himself well to prevent Rave advancing to mount. Rave seems to be working for a kimura but Burgess defends the submission attempt. Burgess tries to roll over but Rave keeps him under control. Burgess is trying to control but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rave takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rave wants to lay and pray for a moment but Burgess keeps working. Rave wants to free his trapped foot but Burgess is holding on for dear life with his legs. Rave is thwarting Burgess's attempts to control the position. Rave prevents Burgess from improving his position. Rave is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Rave frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Rave landing strikes, looking to finish! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Burgess is looking to improve his position but Rave isn't that keen on the idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rave working Burgess over with strikes here. Rave with the ground and pound from mount. Rave has control of Burgess's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Burgess regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Rave lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Rave has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Burgess is bucking up trying to escape but Rave cracks him with another couple of good strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Burgess tries to hold on but Rave pushes him away. BOOM! Rave connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Burgess is trying desperately to improve position. Rave is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Burgess can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Burgess is rocked! Rave has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Burgess's face.
Oh Burgess is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Rave controlling the position easily from mount. Rave lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Burgess is looking to improve his position but Rave isn't that keen on the idea. Rave landing strikes from the mount. Rave is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Burgess goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Rave!
