Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Squirrel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerg Hoitchkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Squirrel's entrance music is Zombie Vandals - Zombie Sluts. A fine choice. Steve Squirrel has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Squirrel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Squirrel content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Hoitchkov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Squirrel defends it easily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Squirrel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Squirrel wants to control from the top but Hoitchkov keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Squirrel sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hoitchkov's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Squirrel lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Squirrel looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hoitchkov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Squirrel thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Squirrel drops an elbow to the side of Hoitchkov's head.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Squirrel connects with a nice short shot to Hoitchkov's temple.
Squirrel seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Gerg Hoitchkov's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gerg Hoitchkov's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Steve Squirrel!
A very excited looking Steve Squirrel made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
