Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between TJ McA (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). TJ McA is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, TJ McA! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Scott Black! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Topper Green and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Black misses. McA closes the distance and clinches up with Black, looking for a takedown. McA pushes Black against the cage but Black circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Black shoots in and bounces McA off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Black has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of McA is proving hard to escape from. Black pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McA is keeping the position for now. Black won't allow McA to sweep him here. Black stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McA swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McA has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Black in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. McA drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. McA content to stall in guard here. Black looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Black wants to stand and escape but McA is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McA passes into half guard. McA performing his best blanket impression for a moment. McA has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

We're going to have a standup here because TJ McA wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. The fight stays on the outside here - Black looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Black throws an overhand right that lands on McA's shoulder, as McA tries to avoid the shot. McA uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Black.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Black darts in trying to clinch and McA counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. McA will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. McA slows the pace down in half guard. Black is looking to control McA's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Black avoid being mounted? McA wants to pass to mount but Black is defending the position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. McA passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Black! Black felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Black is desperately trying to improve his position but McA has a good base and remains in mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
TJ McA dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Black moves to clinch but McA breaks away and McA counters with a left and a right that stings Black. McA leaves Black with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Black dips down and scores with a jab to the body. McA shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Black napping and manages to drive through into side control! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. McA goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Black has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for McA but great work by Black. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McA is trying to control Black's posture but Black avoids it. Black tries to advance to mount but McA denies him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Black is looking to take a break and control but McA is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. McA is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Black taking a break here but McA is having none of it and regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Black wants to stand up but McA is controlling the position.
McA is doing well to control the position and prevent Black from advancing to side control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. TJ McA wasn't doing enough on the ground. Black moves in looking to clinch but McA pushes him off. McA shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Black defends it nicely. Scott Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McA closes the distance and clinches up with Black, looking for a takedown. McA pushes Black against the cage but Black circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. McA looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Black! Black trying to remain calm as McA controls from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Black struggling a bit here. Black might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control McA haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Black regains half guard. Black is breathing heavily. McA controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. McA looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Black with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Black has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McA is working away from the top position though.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. McA shoots in and drives through. Black sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for TJ McA. That's going to take a lot out of him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nice takedown defense from Black. No joy for McA on that attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
TJ McA dominated that second round. That's time! McA's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
McA misses with a takedown attempt and Black counters with a stiff right hand. Black tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McA swivels and escapes. McA closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Black gets control of McA's arms and successfully pulls guard. Black will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. McA's corner is telling him to maintain position. McA sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Black's guard. McA trying to mount his opponent but Black defends it. McA trying to control the pace. TJ McA overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. McA is looking for a kimura but Black is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McA to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Black is looking to get back to full guard here but McA has managed to pass to side control instead. Black takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. McA controls the position from side control. Black prevents McA from moving into mount. Black seems a little lost for a moment, as McA dominates the positioning. Black is trying to control McA's posture but McA avoids it. McA tries to stand but Black is controlling his head. McA working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McA is staying tight to Black's torso, preventing him from escaping. Black is looking for a sweep. Black is trying to escape the position but McA is controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. McA shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Black pinned against the cage. Black gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. McA showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Black.
McA tries for a takedown but Black sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for TJ McA. That's going to take a lot out of him. Black throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Black shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McA sprawls well. McA wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Black gets slowly back to his feet. McA closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McA lands in his opponent's guard. McA seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

McA has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. McA's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. TJ McA wasn't doing enough on the ground. Black shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McA pinned against the cage. McA gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. McA doesn't succeed with the takedown and Black counters with a lovely straight right hand! Black shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McA but McA pushes him off and we're back to square one. Black avoids a punch combination nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Black looks to land a combination but McA avoids it well.
And that's the end of the fight! TJ McA showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for McA, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
