Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Random Hajile! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tournament Winner! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hajile shoots in and drives through. Winner sprawls well. Winner connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Hajile looks for a takedown but Winner sprawls well. Hajile shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Winner is trying to defend but Hajile finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Hajile shoots in for a takedown but Winner shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Random Hajile. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hajile pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Hajile swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Winner throws out a powerful jab. A left lands for Winner. Winner looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Winner has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hajile off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Hajile throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Winner to counter with a crisp jab. Winner is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Hajile closes the distance and clinches up with Winner, looking for a takedown. Hajile pushes Winner against the ropes but Winner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Tournament Winner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hajile throws a big shot that misses. Winner misses with a hook. Hajile ducked under it nicely. Hajile dives in for a single leg takedown but Winner sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes. Hajile can't find room to land a body shot as Winner controls the action.

That was a close round but I would say that Random Hajile will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
