Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul Landen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kolt Ganger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Landen could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kolt Ganger's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Landen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kolt Ganger! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Landen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Ganger paws at him with a jab and circles away. Landen misses the shot to the body. Landen tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Ganger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Landen cracks Ganger with a right hand to the side of the head. Ganger throws a jab but it's blocked by Landen. Landen doesn't manage to clinch there - Ganger circles away.
Ganger throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ganger shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Landen pinned against the ropes. Landen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A solid body kick from Landen. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Landen thows a body shot but no joy. Ganger bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Landen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Landen tries to get out of the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. The ground and pound from Ganger seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Landen tries to buck Ganger off but Ganger is having none of it. Ganger taking a breather here. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Landen tries to bench press Ganger off him but Ganger keeps the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ganger working away. Landen is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ganger is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Landen on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Ganger wants to control but Landen is keeping him busy. Landen trying to control but Ganger flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Ganger throwing damaging strikes from the back! Landen could be in trouble here!
Landen is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Landen trying to control the action but Ganger just sinks the hooks in. Landen grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Ganger has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ganger punches Landen on the ear. Ganger trying to control momentarily.
What can Landen do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ganger punishes Landen with strikes from the back mount. Landen is trying to remain composed but Ganger is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Ganger tries to get the hooks in deep but Landen pushed the leg off. Ganger landing with strikes. Ganger loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Landen hold on?
Good control from Ganger. Landen takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Landen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ganger on the ground. Landen looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Ganger keeps control of the position as Landen tries to break free.
Ganger lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Landen hold on?!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ganger lands a shot to the body. Ganger gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Landen is rocked! Ganger throwing damaging strikes from the back! Landen could be in trouble here!
Oh Landen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Ganger lands strikes from the back and Landen isn't doing enough to escape the position. The referee steps in to end the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kolt Ganger!
