Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul Landen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kolt Ganger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Landen could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kolt Ganger's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kolt Ganger!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Ganger paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Landen misses the shot to the body.
Landen tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Ganger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Landen cracks Ganger with a right hand to the side of the head.
Ganger throws a jab but it's blocked by Landen.
Landen doesn't manage to clinch there - Ganger circles away.
Ganger throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ganger shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Landen pinned against the ropes. Landen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Landen thows a body shot but no joy.
Ganger bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Landen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Landen tries to get out of the position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ground and pound from Ganger seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Landen tries to buck Ganger off but Ganger is having none of it.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Landen tries to bench press Ganger off him but Ganger keeps the position.

Ganger lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Landen hold on?!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Ganger lands strikes from the back and Landen isn't doing enough to escape the position. The referee steps in to end the fight.
