Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crock Lessmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marco Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Crock Lessmore!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lessmore throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Moore tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lessmore is in Moore's guard.
Lessmore works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Lessmore prevents Moore from improving his position.
Lessmore seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Moore does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Lessmore tries to pass to full mount but Moore defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Crock Lessmore.
Lessmore tries to clinch but Moore is having none of it.

Lessmore drives through with a takedown into guard.
Moore working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lessmore.
Moore looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Marco Moore.

Lessmore tries to keep at a distance but Moore has taken the fight into the clinch.

Lessmore decides to pull guard.
Moore postures up.
Moore will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Moore knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lessmore on the ground.

Moore wants to stand but Lessmore has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Lessmore has his foot on Moore's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Moore works his way back into a safe position though.
Moore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lessmore looking to hit a scissor sweep but Moore is one step ahead there.
Moore wants to get up but he can't break Lessmore's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Moore gets to his feet. Lessmore looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Lessmore closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Moore to the mat! Moore manages to get full guard.
Lessmore wanted to stand there but Moore had control of the position.
Moore keeping moving, preventing Lessmore from controlling successfully.

Lessmore passes Moore's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Lessmore thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Moore's head.

Lessmore is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Moore defends it well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Crock Lessmore dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Lessmore dives in and scores a takedown into Moore's guard.
Lessmore throwing strikes from guard but Moore blocks nicely.
Moore pulls Lessmore in close to prevent any damage.

Moore is working an open guard so Lessmore takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Lessmore pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Moore throws a hook but Lessmore avoids it easily.

Moore rushes Lessmore and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Moore lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Moore tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Lessmore moves into full guard.
Lessmore is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Crock Lessmore has got the better of the ground game so far.

Lessmore is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Moore defends well.
Moore has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lessmore is proving hard to escape from.

Lessmore is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Moore is aware though and is defending well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lessmore is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lessmore has a closed guard, preventing Moore from standing up.
Moore wants to stand and escape but instead Lessmore has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Crock Lessmore has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Lessmore feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lessmore drops back, looking for a kneebar! Moore looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Moore looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Moore!
Lessmore is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Moore off and has taken his back!

Lessmore working for a choke but Moore is defending well.
Moore looking very determined here, making life difficult for Lessmore.

Crock Lessmore showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Lessmore passes to side control.

The referee asks Lessmore politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Lessmore prefers to stall for the moment though.
Lessmore is looking to take a break and control but Moore is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Crock Lessmore.

Moore fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lessmore, pushing him back against the cage.

Lessmore lands a nice elbow from the clinch.


It looks like Marco Moore has been cut.
Lessmore lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Moore backwards.

Lessmore breaks the clinch.

Lessmore drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lessmore engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Lessmore passes into half guard.

Moore wants to get back to full guard.

Lessmore stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
