Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Love Aikawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slurms Mckenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mckenzie's choice of entrance music: Sail. Slurms Mckenzie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Love Aikawa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Slurms Mckenzie! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Mckenzie leaves Aikawa with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Mckenzie defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Aikawa. Aikawa tries for a takedown but Mckenzie circles away easily and Mckenzie counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Love Aikawa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Aikawa shoots in but Mckenzie avoids the takedown attempt easily. Love Aikawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mckenzie keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Aikawa. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Aikawa shoots and misses and Mckenzie cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Aikawa tries for a takedown but Mckenzie circles away easily and Mckenzie counters with a crisp right hand that drops Aikawa! Mckenzie lets Aikawa back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Slurms Mckenzie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice sprawl there from Mckenzie as Aikawa shoots in. Aikawa closes the distance and clinches up with Mckenzie, looking for a takedown. Aikawa pushes Mckenzie against the cage but Mckenzie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aikawa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mckenzie as he avoids it easily. Aikawa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Aikawa shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Nice takedown defense from Mckenzie. No joy for Aikawa on that attempt.

Aikawa shoots and misses and Mckenzie counters with a thumping low kick. Aikawa shoots in for a double leg but Mckenzie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Aikawa fails with a takedown attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Aikawa with a poor takedown and Mckenzie counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Aikawa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mckenzie avoids it really well and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Slurms Mckenzie dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Aikawa misses with a takedown attempt - Mckenzie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Aikawa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mckenzie sprawls well. Mckenzie wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Aikawa gets slowly back to his feet. Aikawa is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Mckenzie displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Aikawa.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aikawa shoots in looking for a takedown. Mckenzie tries to sprawl out of it but Aikawa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mckenzie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nice sprawl there from Mckenzie as Aikawa shoots in.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Aikawa shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mckenzie counters with a nice right hand that sends Aikawa toppling to the canvas! Aikawa scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Mckenzie finish him?! Oh Aikawa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Aikawa with a lazy takedown attempt and Mckenzie counters with a good low kick that Aikawa was not able to check. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Aikawa shoots in for a takedown but Mckenzie shows good takedown defense. Aikawa shoots and misses and Mckenzie counters with an outside leg kick.
Aikawa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Mckenzie finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Slurms Mckenzie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Mckenzie wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Aikawa has him pressed against the cage. Aikawa blocks an elbow strike from Mckenzie.
Mckenzie lands a hook to the side of the head. Mckenzie scores with an uppercut up the middle. Aikawa misses with a punch to the body.

Aikawa fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Aikawa dives in for a single leg takedown but Mckenzie sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mckenzie. Aikawa trying to control the position but instead, Mckenzie has worked for underhooks and has pushed Aikawa into the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Aikawa.

Mckenzie wants to break the clinch but can't.
Aikawa takes an elbow to the temple. Mckenzie creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Aikawa's defenses. Aikawa takes an elbow to the forehead. Mckenzie has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Aikawa can't find room to land a body shot as Mckenzie controls the action.
Love Aikawa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mckenzie tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Aikawa avoids it. Mckenzie misses with a punch on the inside.
Mckenzie looks to throw an elbow but misses. Mckenzie gets through Aikawa's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Mckenzie lands a shoulder strike. Mckenzie throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Aikawas head. Mckenzie is looking to control Aikawa's arms but Aikawa gets an underhook and turns him. Now Mckenzie has his back to the cage. Mckenzie tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Aikawa's elbow. Mckenzie dips a shoulder and cracks Aikawa with a mighty uppercut! Aikawa falls back against the cage and Mckenzie unloads with a barrage of strikes! Aikawa is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Mckenzie screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
