The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
king lands a nice looking body shot.
king throws a right and a left that Greene avoids nicely.
king wants to clinch.
A combination from king does no damage.
charles king seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
king moves out of range of the body kick.
Nice takedown defense from king. No joy for Greene on that attempt.

Greene has closed the distance and engaged king in a clinch.
king prevents a takedown attempt there.
Greene trying to stall but king improves his position.
A knee to the head by Greene.
king makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
A head punch on the inside from king fails to land.
Greene wants a takedown.

king wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Greene has him pressed against the cage.

king tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Greene paws at him with a jab and circles away.
king moves in looking to clinch but Greene pushes him off.

and Greene counters with a head kick. That will keep king thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Crunch! king slams his shin into Greene's torso.
charles king is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Greene swats away the attempt to clinch by king.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from king, right into the meat.
king tries to close the distance and clinch but Greene swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
king tries to clinch up.
king scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Greene doesn't seem bothered though.
king tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Greene takes a shot right to the bread basket.

and Greene counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
king lands with an overhand left.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

king lands with a thumping leg kick.
king stalks Greene and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Greene's face. Greene staggers backwards, shaken.

king connects with a stiff jab that staggers Greene - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
