The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rold fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Andre throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Andre looks for the body kick but Rold saw that one coming.
Andre throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rold finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Andre darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Rold keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Andre throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Andre scores with a shot to the body.
Rold looks to land a body kick but Andre moved away.

letting Rold counter with a right hand.

Rold is trying to maintain a safe position but Andre gets an underhook and turns Rold into the cage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rold breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

A close round but Enrique Rold will probably get the nod.

Andre rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Andre takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Andre tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rold was well out of range. Poor timing from Andre.
Andre has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Andre cracks Rold with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Enrique Rold seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Rold takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Andre's corner calls for a 1-2. Andre obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Rold ducks under a wild hook from Andre.
Andre pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Andre tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rold manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Andre lands a body shot.
Andre throws a lazy uppercut
and Rold counters with a one-two to the body.
Andre wants to slow Rold down by chopping away at his legs.
Rold checks the leg kick nicely there.
Andre tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Rold counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Andre throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Rold blocks the body kick.
A punch lands to the side of Andre 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Andre misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rold.
Andre feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rolds jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Andre lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
The fighters circling - Andre throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Andre throws a jab but it's blocked by Rold.
Andre takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Rold tries to land a front kick but Andre steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

enabling Andre to counter with a crisp jab.
Rold ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Andre is looking to clinch but Rold is avoiding it.

and Rold counters with a head kick. That will keep Andre thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Rold feints and then cracks Andre's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Andre down.
Oh Andre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rold walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Andre drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Rold swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Andre's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Enrique Rold!
Enrique Rold was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
