Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jean Claude Patrick!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patrick avoids the body shot from Escargesa.
Escargesa gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Escargesa moves forwards but Patrick connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Patrick throws a right hand that Escargesa ducks under and follows up with a left that Escargesa also avoids with ease.
Patrick throws a right and a left that both miss.
Escargesa dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Escargesa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A punch combination from Escargesa misses.
Patrick fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Escargesa manages to avoid it.
Escargesa is looking to clinch but Patrick is avoiding it.
Patrick closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Escargesa tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Patrick manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Patrick tries to bum rush Escargesa with a series of wild strikes but Escargesa uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Escargesa scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Escargesa tries to clinch but Patrick is having none of it.

Escargesa doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Patrick. Those never looked like landing.
Escargesa tries to close the distance and clinch but Patrick swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Escargesa throws a lazy right hand but Patrick sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Patrick is still on wobbly legs! Can Escargesa finish him?
Escargesa lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Patrick falls backwards - clearly groggy! Escargesa dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vincent Escargesa!
