The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oheat bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Veremko wants to get back to his feet.
Oheat working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Oheat has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Oheat cracks Veremko with a big right hand but Veremko just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Oheat lands a strong strike to the head of Veremko. That's dazed him! Oheat looking to finish here. Veremko is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Oheat lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
