Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bart Gould (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Savior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Christian Savior has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Bart Gould's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bart Gould! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Christian Savior! The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Ben Hemmingworth and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gould tries for a takedown but Savior circles away easily and Savior counters by moving into the clinch. Gould has Savior pressed against the cage, preventing Savior from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Gould has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Savior avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Come on Savior - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Savior jumps guard.
Gould postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Gould stopping the sweep attempt from Savior. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Savior holds on and takes a little breather. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gould accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gould trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Savior bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gould's guard. Gould can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Savior controls the pace. Gould throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Savior in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Savior controls from within his opponent's guard. Gould is looking to stand up but Savior isn't so interested in that idea. Savior sitting in guard, not really doing much.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Christian Savior hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Savior clinches up with Gould and pushes him back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Savior turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Savior sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Gould is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gould is trying to get back to half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gould is letting Savior control him for a moment. Savior throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Gould seems a little lost for a moment, as Savior dominates the positioning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Christian Savior has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Savior displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gould. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bart Gould. That's going to take a lot out of him. Savior throws a shot to the body.
Gould is breathing heavily. Savior throws a low kick but it's checked well by Gould. Savior shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Savior stands up and beckons Gould to join him on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Savior has managed to clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Savior tries to break the clinch but Gould is controlling the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Savior will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Gould up against the cage. Savior wants the takedown. Gould is fighting it off but Savior persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Gould's guard against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christian Savior dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Savior drives through with a takedown into guard. Gould doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Savior passes Gould's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Savior seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Gould is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Savior is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Savior taking a breather. Gould is working for takedown but Savior is calmly controlling the position for now. Savior is looking to take this one to the mat. Gould pulls Savior into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Savior controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Gould is looking to sweep but instead, Savior has passed into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Savior keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Savior is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Gould is trying to reverse the position but instead Savior has taken his back - oops! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Savior scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Gould is looking for a way out. Savior trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Gould doesn't escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gould is trying to break free.
What can Gould do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Savior throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Gould!
Savior controlling from the back. Savior sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Gould taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Christian Savior!
