Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sylvester Gallegos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Reaboldt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reaboldt shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Reaboldt was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Gallegos can't do much from the bottom here.
Gallegos could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Gallegos tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reaboldt lands a big head kick that sends Gallegos tumbling to the mat! Reaboldt takes a step backwards and waves Gallegos back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Sylvester Gallegos has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gallegos tries to clinch up but Reaboldt circles away and keeps his distance.
Gallegos thows a body shot but no joy.

Gallegos gets tackled into the cage by Reaboldt. Reaboldt maintains the clinch.
Reaboldt tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Reaboldt pulls guard.
Reaboldt is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Gallegos loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Gallegos postures up in Reaboldt's guard and throws a big left but Reaboldt blocks it.
Reaboldt is adopting a defensive guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Reaboldt is on top in guard.

Reaboldt is looking to work some ground and pound but Gallegos has wrist control.

Gallegos might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Gallegos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Reaboldt defends well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Reaboldt tries to free his leg and advance position but Gallegos is retaining full guard.

Reaboldt pushes down on Gallegos's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Gallegos tries to roll over but Reaboldt keeps him under control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Reaboldt uses his free foot to push down on Gallegos's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gallegos.
Reaboldt avoids the attempt from Gallegos to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Gallegos takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Reaboldt lands a left and a right that send Gallegos crashing to the mat, dazed. Reaboldt thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gallegos avoids the head kick by Reaboldt.
Reaboldt throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Gallegos counters with a single leg into guard. Reaboldt didn't expect that.
Gallegos wants to control from the top but Reaboldt keeps moving.
Reaboldt has control of Gallegos's left arm, preventing Gallegos from doing any damage.

Gallegos working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Reaboldt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Reaboldt is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gallegos is controlling him.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Gallegos wants to clinch.

Reaboldt has taken the fight to the clinch.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Gallegos managing to block the knees to the body from Reaboldt.

Reaboldt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Reaboldt swats away the attempt to clinch by Gallegos.

Reaboldt forces Gallegos back against the cage and clinches.
Gallegos tries to pull guard but Reaboldt holds him up against the cage and eventually Gallegos drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sylvester Gallegos. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Reaboldt throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gallegos blocks it with crossed arms.

Gallegos manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Gallegos wants to stand and escape but Reaboldt is having none of it.

Reaboldt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reaboldt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gallegos controls Reaboldt momentarily but Reaboldt frees himself.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Reaboldt stands up from Gallegos's guard - Reaboldt perhaps looking for a knockout.

Gallegos takes the fight into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jordan Reaboldt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Reaboldt gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Reaboldt landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Gallegos is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Reaboldt gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Gallegos is trying to pull guard but Reaboldt turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Reaboldt gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Gallegos regains guard.
Gallegos wants to control the position but Reaboldt says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Reaboldt thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gallegos's head.
Gallegos works his way to full guard. Good work.
Reaboldt throws a big elbow that misses.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Reaboldt decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Reaboldt rushes Gallegos and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Reaboldt will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Gallegos up against the cage.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Jordan Reaboldt is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Reaboldt digs a right hand into Gallegos's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Gallegos's gas tank.

Jordan Reaboldt comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Reaboldt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
