Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Raban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kristian Torhammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Raban! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kristian Torhammer! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raban takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Raban dives in and scores a takedown into Torhammer's guard. Raban trying to control the position from guard on top but Torhammer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Raban postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Raban with a flurry of punches that miss. Torhammer being controlled here, momentarily. Raban looking to pass the guard. Raban is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Torhammer looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Torhammer can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Raban controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torhammer can't keep his opponent in guard - Raban advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The fighters are battling for position here. Torhammer manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Raban wants to pass the guard but Torhammer is keeping the position. Torhammer keeping moving, preventing Raban from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Raban accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Raban tries to free his leg and advance position but Torhammer is retaining full guard. Raban content to stall in guard here. Raban throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Raban looking to sit in guard and control but Torhammer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Raban keeping moving, preventing Torhammer from controlling successfully. Torhammer throws a big right hand that misses. Torhammer throws an elbow that misses. Raban uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Torhammer's guard. Nice move by Raban! Torhammer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Raban gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Torhammer manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Raban tries to get back to half guard but can't. Torhammer trying to control but Raban is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Torhammer tries to push Raban's head away but Raban is holding on tight. Torhammer thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Raban reaches up and holds on to Torhammer to control the position. Torhammer thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Raban dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Raban fails miserably with a takedown attempt. James Raban is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A head kick by Torhammer misses and Raban counters with a nice body kick.

Torhammer's jab looks to have found its range, popping Raban under the eye. Torhammer cracks Raban with a good jab.
It looks like James Raban has been cut. Raban throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Torhammer throws a body punch but Raban moves out of range. Torhammer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Torhammer throws a sloppy body shot
and Raban counters with a nice body kick.
Torhammer lands a head kick. Raban smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raban misses with a body kick. Torhammer connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Torhammer lands with a nice body punch. Torhammer throws an overhand right that lands on Raban's shoulder, as Raban tries to avoid the shot. Raban walks into a left hand. Torhammer lands a nice shot that snaps Raban's head back.
The crowd cheers as Torhammer lands an impressive looking overhand right. Raban doesn't seem phased though. Raban avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Raban avoids the head kick by Torhammer.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A slapping leg kick lands for Torhammer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Torhammer throws a head kick that misses. Raban avoids a low kick by using good footwork. A swing and a miss from Torhammer. Raban on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Kristian Torhammer seems to be getting the better of the standup. Raban looks for the body kick but Torhammer saw that one coming. Raban ducks right into an uppercut from Torhammer. A head kick misses from Torhammer. Torhammer throws a sloppy head kick and Raban moves out of range easily. Nice body punch from Torhammer. Torhammer throws a head kick that misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Torhammer throws a sloppy head kick and Raban moves out of range easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Torhammer looks to land a right hand but Raban moved out of range. Torhammer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Raban.

Raban fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Torhammer thuds his right hand into Raban's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Torhammer thuds a left hand into Raban's body. Raban keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Torhammer. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. A swing and a miss from Raban. Raban throws out a loose jab but Torhammer uses good head movement to avoid it. Torhammer misses the jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Torhammer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Raban manages to avoid it. Torhammer misses the shot to the body. Torhammer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Torhammer throws a head kick that misses. Torhammer lands a slapping body shot.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Torhammer. Torhammer throws a sloppy body shot
and Raban counters with a nice double leg into side control. Torhammer won't be happy with that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Torhammer tries to bench press Raban off him but Raban keeps the position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Raban wants to control but Torhammer is keeping him busy. James Raban overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Torhammer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Raban wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kristian Torhammer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on James Raban's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Raban feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Raban working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Torhammer's head.
It looks like Kristian Torhammer has been cut. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Torhammer has control of Raban's left arm, preventing Raban from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Torhammer working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Raban. Raban lands a couple of digs. Torhammer looking for a sweep. Not yet Torhammer, not yet. Raban is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Raban tries to free his leg and advance position but Torhammer is retaining full guard. Torhammer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torhammer keeping moving, preventing Raban from controlling successfully. Torhammer wants to sweep but no luck.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Raban throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Torhammer was covering up waiting for the punch and Raban finishes the takedown easily into guard. Raban is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Raban's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Torhammer trying to keep a closed guard but Raban is proving a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Torhammer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Raban throws a big right hand that misses. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! That's three minutes gone in the round. Torhammer has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Raban is proving hard to escape from. Torhammer loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Raban slips under a jab from Torhammer. Raban staying out of range there. Raban dives in for a single leg takedown but Torhammer sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Raban goes for a takedown in the clinch but Torhammer prevents it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Raban breaks the clinch.
Kristian Torhammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Raban goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Raban lands a high kick!
That has opened up Kristian Torhammer's cut even more. Torhammer looks to land a right hand but Raban moved out of range. Raban fails with the takedown and Torhammer counters with a nice uppercut. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Raban. That's going to take a lot out of him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Raban on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Torhammer throws an off balance right hand
and Raban makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Torhammer really felt that one! A jab from Torhammer misses.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... James Raban! After the fight, James Raban was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
