Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rufus Stokes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maison Szuchnik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Maison Szuchnik enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rufus Stokes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Maison Szuchnik! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Szuchnik misses with a few strikes there.
Stokes tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Szuchnik manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Stokes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Szuchnik avoids it really well and circles away. Stokes walks forward, straight into a front kick from Szuchnik. Szuchnik closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Stokes's guard. Szuchnik slips nicely into half guard. Szuchnik looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stokes wants to get back to his feet. Szuchnik sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Stokes defending well though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stokes moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Szuchnik advances to half guard. Szuchnik throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Stokes won't allow Szuchnik to pass to mount. Stokes punching from the bottom.
Szuchnik not landing any meaningful shots this time. Szuchnik keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Stokes gets full guard. Stokes wants to sweep but no luck. Szuchnik must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Szuchnik trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Szuchnik stops Stokes from standing up. Stokes looking for a sweep. Not yet Stokes, not yet. Stokes throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Stokes is breathing heavily. Stokes will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Szuchnik trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Stokes utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stokes being controlled here, momentarily. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Szuchnik works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stokes keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Szuchnik is trying to control. Stokes wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Szuchnik is pressing down on Stokes's thigh, looking to free his foot. Stokes is holding on for now. Szuchnik thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Szuchnik is looking for a kimura but Stokes is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Szuchnik to get the leverage. Stokes tries to kick Szuchnik off but Szuchnik keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Szuchnik wants to take a breather but Stokes is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. It looks like Szuchnik is going to stand back up.
Szuchnik slows the pace down in half guard.
Maison Szuchnik has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Szuchnik moves into the clinch successfully.

Szuchnik dives in and scores a takedown into Stokes's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Szuchnik trying to control but Stokes is working from the bottom. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Szuchnik is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maison Szuchnik dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Stokes misses with a takedown and Szuchnik counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Szuchnik. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Szuchnik as Stokes tries to tie him up. Szuchnik manages to break the clinch.
Szuchnik closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Stokes did well to prevent Szuchnik getting side control. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Szuchnik in particular looking to stall. Stokes wants to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Stokes moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Stokes is striking off his back. Szuchnik thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Szuchnik blocks the strikes from Stokes.
Szuchnik is looking to stall here but Stokes recovers full guard. Szuchnik advances position into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Szuchnik has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Szuchnik shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Stokes is trying to defend but Szuchnik finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stokes is not content to let Szuchnik control the position. Maison Szuchnik has got the better of the ground game so far. Szuchnik wants to pass to mount but Stokes is defending the position. Szuchnik blocks the strikes from Stokes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Szuchnik stands up from half guard. Rufus Stokes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stokes shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Szuchnik but Szuchnik pushes him off and we're back to square one. Szuchnik feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Szuchnik really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stokes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Szuchnik trying to control the position from guard on top but Stokes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stokes throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Szuchnik stands up out of Stokes's guard for a moment - Stokes manages to land a nice upkick. Szuchnik is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Szuchnik postures up in Stokes's guard and throws a big left but Stokes blocks it. Stokes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Szuchnik is one step ahead there. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Szuchnik trying to control the position from guard on top but Stokes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Szuchnik looking to pass the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maison Szuchnik showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Szuchnik swats away the attempt to clinch by Stokes. Stokes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Szuchnik sprawls well. Szuchnik wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stokes gets slowly back to his feet. Stokes tries for a takedown but Szuchnik sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Stokes is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Szuchnik.
It looks like Rufus Stokes has been cut. Szuchnik shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Szuchnik was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Szuchnik stands up and beckons Stokes to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Szuchnik drives through with a takedown into guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Stokes keeping moving, preventing Szuchnik from controlling successfully. Stokes manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Stokes shoots in but Szuchnik avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rufus Stokes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Szuchnik moves into the clinch successfully.
Szuchnik lands a hook to the side of the head. Szuchnik is trying to maintain a safe position but Stokes gets an underhook and turns Szuchnik into the cage. Szuchnik drags the fight down to the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stokes is stalling in the full guard. Szuchnik is looking to sweep but instead, Stokes has passed into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stokes is figuring out what he wants to do next. Stokes seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Szuchnik for as long as he can get away with.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Szuchnik wants to get back to full guard but Stokes has mounted him! Szuchnik is looking to improve his position but Stokes isn't that keen on the idea. Stokes controlling his opponent. Szuchnik tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stokes looking to control and managing it successfully. Stokes's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Stokes is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Szuchnik is surviving well by controlling Stokes's body position as best he can. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Szuchnik defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Stokes.
And that's the end of the fight! Maison Szuchnik comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Szuchnik has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
