Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Terry Pollard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terry Pollard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Cooper! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cooper shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Cooper is looking for a kimura but Pollard is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cooper to get the leverage. Cooper takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Cooper is thwarting Pollard's attempts to control the position. Cooper controlling the pace. Cooper stops Pollard from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cooper keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Sam Cooper was stalling too much, according to the referee. Pollard gets caught napping as Cooper dives in and scores a takedown. Pollard manages to retain guard. Pollard might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pollard can't keep his opponent in guard - Cooper advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Pollard is in trouble now - Cooper has advanced to mount! Pollard tries to lock up and control but Cooper gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Cooper in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Cooper lands a big shot there that rocks Pollard but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Cooper takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cooper with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Pollard wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Cooper content just to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pollard is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Pollard is breathing heavily. Cooper landing strikes from the mount. Cooper takes Pollard's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Pollard is in trouble. What can Pollard do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pollard controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. It looks like Cooper might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sam Cooper dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Cooper shoots in and bounces Pollard off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Cooper stays in close to Pollard's body and controls the position. Pollard is looking for a triangle here but Cooper uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Pollard takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cooper working the ground and pound. Cooper takes a little break here. Pollard wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Cooper tries for a kimura but Pollard is defending well. Pollard being controlled for a moment. Cooper landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cooper controls the position from side control. Cooper advances to full mount. Pollard squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Pollard really is a fat lump. Pollard is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cooper controlling the pace for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cooper is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Pollard is surviving well by controlling Cooper's body position as best he can. Cooper controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cooper working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Pollard looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Cooper! Submission of the night perhaps?
