Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ripley Mendez!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendez blocks a head kick by Reyes.
Reyes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Reyes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mendez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Reyes to the mat! Reyes manages to get full guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Reyes looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Mendez is defending well. Reyes quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Mendez has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Reyes celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
