Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dj Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jayme Thales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dj Black! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jayme Thales! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Black is trying hard to land a takedown here. Thales sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Thales shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Black as he avoids it easily. Black goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Thales is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Thales tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Black paws at him with a jab and circles away. Thales shoots in looking for a takedown but Black manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Thales's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Thales stuffs the takedown. Thales keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dj Black. That's going to take a lot out of him. Thales closes the distance looking to clinch and Black counters with a nice body shot. Black gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Black escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Black has a takedown stuffed. Thales tries for a takedown but Black sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thales tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Black swivels and escapes. Black has taken the fight to the clinch.
Thales is trying to pull guard but Black has him pressed against the cage. Black wants a takedown.
Black has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Thales regains guard immediately. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Black drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Black jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Black accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Thales is looking to cinch up a triangle. Black throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Thales's body to avoid the submission. Thales has instead reached around Black's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Thales arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jayme Thales!
