Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Koscheck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Koscheck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Edgar! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Edgar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Koscheck tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Edgar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Edgar lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Koscheck backs up against the cage.
It looks like Josh Koscheck has been cut. Edgar displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Koscheck throws out the jab. Koscheck misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Edgar.
Koscheck throws a right hand that Edgar ducks under and follows up with a left that Edgar also avoids with ease. Koscheck wants to clinch up but Edgar keeps it at a distance. Koscheck will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Edgar defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Koscheck. Koscheck looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Edgar is fending him off so far but Koscheck persists. Nope, Edgar circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Koscheck. That's going to take a lot out of him. Koscheck fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Edgar to the ground. Koscheck is now in Edgar's guard. Koscheck is breathing heavily. Edgar looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Edgar is controlling Koscheck's posture. Koscheck has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Edgar is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Edgar gets to his feet. Koscheck looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Edgar comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Koscheck tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Edgar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Edgar shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Koscheck is trying to defend but Edgar finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Edgar decides to stand and escape the position. Koscheck with a poor takedown and Edgar counters with a left and a right that stings Koscheck. Edgar finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Koscheck tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Edgar counters with a stiff right hand.
Koscheck is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Edgar lands with a right and another and another! Koscheck is in big trouble! Edgar lands again and this time it's lights out for Koscheck! A quality knockout there for Edgar.
