Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marek Markowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandru Lupei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexandru Lupei will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Alexandru Lupei!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lupei has his takedown stuffed
and Markowski holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Lupei is looking for a takedown.
Lupei jumps guard.
Lupei escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Markowski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Markowski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lupei tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Markowski throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lupei works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Markowski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lupei swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lupei working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Markowski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Lupei is tightening it up a little... Markowski has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Markowski reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Markowski taps out! Nice BJJ there by Lupei!

In his post fight interview, Alexandru Lupei started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
