Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Reyes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dan Augusto!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Augusto shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Augusto was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Augusto prevents Reyes from getting the reversal.
Reyes wants to hold on but Augusto pushes him away.
Augusto trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Reyes is trying desperately to improve position.
Augusto wants to control the pace but Reyes is squirming around nicely.
Augusto manages to capitalize on a mistake by Reyes to take his back!
Reyes rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Reyes punching from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Augusto closes this distance looking for a takedown but Reyes circles away.
Reyes tries to clinch there but Augusto circles away.
Reyes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Reyes jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Reyes throws a series of punches but Augusto moves out of range.
Augusto moves into range and clinches up with Reyes.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Reyes.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Reyes.
The is referee keeping an eye on Reyes - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Augusto tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Reyes just stands there and leans against the cage.
Reyes gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Augusto.
Paulo Reyes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Augusto.
Reyes lands a right hand.
Reyes lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Reyes lands with a light punch inside.
Augusto can't break the clinch.
Augusto wants to get back to striking at distance but Reyes won't allow it.

Augusto stalling in the clinch but Reyes improves position.
Reyes working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Reyes scores with a shot to the side of Augusto's head.
Augusto looks gassed!
Reyes lands a shoulder strike.
Reyes lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Reyes is leaning against Augusto and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Reyes lands an uppercut.
Reyes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Reyes connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A slapping leg kick lands for Reyes.
Paulo Reyes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Reyes moves into the clinch.
Reyes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Augusto ducks straight into an uppercut from Reyes and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Augusto maanges to regain guard straight away.
Augusto is rocked!
Reyes trying to control but Augusto is working from the bottom.
Augusto is still in real trouble! Can Reyes finish him?
Reyes working some strikes from top position.
Augusto seems to have recovered his senses.
Reyes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Reyes in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Reyes cracks Augusto with a solid left hand.
Augusto has momentary wrist control but Reyes slips an elbow through the middle.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Reyes thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Reyes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Augusto swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Reyes works over Augusto with some ground and pound from guard.
Reyes content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Reyes lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Reyes is working Augusto over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Reyes drops back looking for a leg! Augusto is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Augusto manages to kick Reyes off! Reyes jumps back into Augusto's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reyes working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Reyes content to stall in guard here.
Reyes with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Reyes scoring with some ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paulo Reyes dominated that round.
That's time! Reyes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Reyes throws a jab when Augusto was well out of range.
Reyes misses with a body shot.
Augusto lands a nice leg kick that just misses Reyes's sensitive parts.
Augusto misses with a series of wild punches.
Reyes checks the leg kick nicely there.
Reyes lands with a straight right. Augusto didn't see that one coming.
Augusto displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Reyes looks to land a right hand but Augusto moved out of range.
Reyes throws a left that rocks Augusto and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Reyes dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Augusto regain composure!
The crowd goes nuts as Reyes knocks Augusto out cold with a massive hammerfist! Reyes Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Paulo Reyes!
