Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nick Renne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Going (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Going comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Boom Schalak - House of Pain kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Sid Going was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Going wants to clinch up but Renne keeps it at a distance.
Renne takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Going has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Renne is landing a low percentage of strikes.
A right-left combo lands from Going.
Going throws a right hand that Renne ducks under and follows up with a left that Renne also avoids with ease.
Renne closes this distance looking for a takedown but Going circles away.
Going fails to land with a series of punches.
Renne slips a jab and a cross from Going.
Going tries to bum rush Renne with a series of wild strikes but Renne uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Going misses with a few strikes there.
Renne fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Going lands with an overhand left.
Going goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Going lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Going misses with a series of wild punches.
Sid Going is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Going throws a nice looking combination but Renne bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Renne shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Going sprawls well. Going wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Renne gets slowly back to his feet.

Going looks to land a combination but Renne avoids it well.

Going parries the strikes from Renne easily there. Renne is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Going to escape.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Renne is landing with some decent strikes but Going is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Sid Going was interviewed post fight and said 'A loss is a loss - at least this one was to someone I know I'll be able to beat in a re-match... if you aren't too scared that is?'.
