PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between White Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uriah Chesnokov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Boy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dirty White BOY. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, White Boy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Uriah Chesnokov!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chesnokov was well out of range. Poor timing from Boy.
Chesnokov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Chesnokov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Chesnokov drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Chesnokov would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Boy trying to keep a closed guard but Chesnokov is proving a slippery customer.
Boy is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Chesnokov is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Chesnokov wants to control from the top but Boy keeps moving.
Boy wants to sweep here but Chesnokov controlling him for the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Boy swats away the attempt to clinch by Chesnokov.
White Boy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Boy tries to bum rush Chesnokov with a series of wild strikes but Chesnokov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Boy with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Boy lands a jab to Chesnokov's midsection.
Boy connects with the punch.
Chesnokov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Chesnokov misses with a low kick.
Boy throws a jab but it's blocked by Chesnokov.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boy avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Boy. No joy for Chesnokov on that attempt.
White Boy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uriah Chesnokov.
Boy dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Chesnokov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boy's waist but Boy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chesnokov off to one side.
Boy's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Boy duly obliges.
Chesnokov takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Boy throws out a powerful jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boy throws a hook but Chesnokov blocks it.
Chesnokov takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Chesnokov stuns Boy with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chesnokov dives in for a single leg takedown but Boy sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Chesnokov drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Boy gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Boy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Chesnokov has him pressed against the cage.
Boy putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Chesnokov in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Boy using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Chesnokov has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Chesnokov's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Boy makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Boy landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
A short right from Boy on the inside.
Boy lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Boy on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
A bit of stalling here from Chesnokov.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Chesnokov fails to pull the fight into his guard.
A hook to the body from Boy.
Chesnokov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Boy smiles and moves away.
Boy jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Boy lands with a straight right. Chesnokov didn't see that one coming.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chesnokov moves forwards but Boy connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Chesnokov misses with a takedown attempt - Boy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Chesnokov shoots in looking for a takedown but Boy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Chesnokov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Boy counters with a left to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

White Boy dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Boy manages to break the clinch.
Danga de danga de dang - Boy scores with a four punch combination!


Chesnokov is rocked!
Boy throws a lazy right hand but Chesnokov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Chesnokov is still on wobbly legs! Can Boy finish him?
Boy looks to throw the jab but Chesnokov is out of range.
Chesnokov staying out of range there.
Chesnokov misses with a takedown attempt - Boy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Boy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chesnokov.
Uriah Chesnokov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boy pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Boy dances in with a quick combination. Chesnokov is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Boy snaps Chesnokov's head back. Chesnokov stumbles backwards against the cage. Boy steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Chesnokov's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Chesnokov just didn't come prepared.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). White Boy!
White Boy looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Well, I'm a dirty white boy Dirty white boy, dirty white boy Dirty white boy, yeah, dirty white boy A dirty white boy I've been in trouble since I don't know when I'm in trouble now and I now somehow I'll find trouble again I'm a loner, but I'm never alone Every night I get one step '.
