Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elmo Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Clocker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clocker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lewis sprawls well initially but Clocker persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Lewis is defending against the submission attempts here by Clocker.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clocker wants to advance to full mount but Lewis doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Lewis is looking for a triangle but Clocker pushes his legs off easily.
Lewis is controlling Clocker's posture.
Lewis keeping moving, preventing Clocker from controlling successfully.

Lewis can't keep his opponent in guard - Clocker advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Clocker wants to free his trapped foot but Lewis is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Lewis is trying to stand up here but Clocker is controlling him well.
Lewis is staying active underneath Clocker, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Clocker is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Clocker is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lewis is just riding it out for now. Clocker eventually gives up the hold.
Clocker is just content to waste time from the top position. Lewis takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lewis holds on and takes a little breather.
Clocker trying to control but Lewis is working from the bottom.
Clocker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lewis swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lewis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Clocker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Lewis seems keen to control Clocker's posture.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jon Clocker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!



Clocker drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Lewis has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Clocker is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Clocker turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Clocker manages to end up in side control.

Clocker working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Lewis is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Clocker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lewis keeps working.

Clocker creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lewis sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Lewis wants to get back to his feet.
Lewis is not content to let Clocker control the position.
Lewis is trying to improve his position.

Clocker stands up and beckons Lewis to his feet.
Clocker looks to land a combination but Lewis avoids it well.

Clocker closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lewis did well to prevent Clocker getting side control.
Clocker wants to take a breather but Lewis is having none of it.
Lewis looks like he's trying to stand up.

Lewis pushes Clocker off looking to stand but Clocker dives back in and keeps control.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Clocker is looking to advance position but Lewis won't allow it.

Jon Clocker has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Lewis gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well Clocker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
