Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Game (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Dixon's choice of entrance music: Dark Tranquillity - Iridium. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Game! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 8 - 2, fighting out of New York, Joey Dixon! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dixon fails in his attempt to clinch. Game misses with a looping left. Dixon misses with a low kick.
Dixon checks a leg kick nicely. Dixon moves in looking to clinch but Game pushes him off. Dixon dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Game. That did some damage! Dixon attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. No joy there for Game, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Game connects with a looping right hand.
Dixon listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. A shot to the body from Game misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Game fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dixon on the side of the head. Dixon scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dixon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Game lands a front kick. Dixon loads up on a big right hand but Game slips the punch. Game lands with a good body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dixon takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
An inside leg kick lands from Dixon. Game looks to score with a jab to the body but Dixon is just out of range. Game scores with a jab. Dixon acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Game scores with a body shot.
Nick Game seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No luck for Dixon with that takedown attempt. Dixon shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Game works his way to full guard. Good work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Game is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Game wants to sweep here but Dixon controlling him for the moment. Dixon sitting in guard here, content to control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dixon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Game walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dixon checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Game throws a hook to the side of Dixon's head but Dixon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Nick Game is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dixon throws the left hand but Game avoids the punch easily. Dixon throws a nice looking combination but Game bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Game throws an overhand right that lands on Dixon's shoulder, as Dixon tries to avoid the shot. Game darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Game avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Game misses with a straight left. Game misses with a wild combination.

Dixon staying out of range there. Game throws a leg kick which misses Dixon's front leg but catches the back leg as Dixon tries to avoid it. Game tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dixon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. An inside leg kick from Game misses. Game thows a body shot but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A solid leg kick lands there for Game.
Game thuds a left hand into Dixon's body. A low kick from Game is predictable there and Dixon counters with a nice low kick that buckles Game's knee momentarily. Dixon wants to clinch up but Game keeps it at a distance. Game looks to score with a jab to the body but Dixon is just out of range. Dixon scores with the left hand. Game knows he should have avoided that one. This has been an exciting period of action! Dixon tries to close the distance and clinch but Game swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Dixon moves out of range of the strikes. Dixon blocks a head kick by Game.
Game cracks Dixon with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dixon scores with a decent looking hook. Dixon tries to score with a low kick but Game moves his leg out of the way. Game misses with a looping right. Dixon blocks a head kick by Game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nick Game will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Game pivots, looking for a leg kick but Dixon is out of range and Game settles back down. Game looks to land a right hand but Dixon moved out of range. Game lands a two punch combo.
Game lands with a straight right. Dixon didn't see that one coming. Dixon cracks Game with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Game explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Game scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Game lands a nice looking body shot.
Dixon tries to clinch there but Game circles away.
Game jabs at Dixon's body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dixon wants to clinch up but Game keeps it at a distance. Dixon on the wrong end of a nice jab. Game avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dixon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Game paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Game wants to land a leg kick but Dixon is out of range. Dixon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Game is looking for a sweep. Game is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dixon off and has taken his back! Dixon trying to control but not successfully. Dixon is really stuck here.
Game gets his hands free as Dixon looks to control. Dixon breaks Game's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Dixon throws a big right hand that misses. Game utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dixon throws a strike but Game rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Game is in close to Dixon's body, working some short punches and elbows. Game postures up in Dixon's guard and throws a big left but Dixon blocks it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Game won't allow Dixon to get back to his feet. Game has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Game trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dixon is trying to keep Game in close.
Game controls the pace of the fight for a moment. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Game throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Dixon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Game was well out of range. Poor timing from Dixon.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dixon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Dixon blocks a leg kick. Good work by Game as he checks the leg kick. A bone on bone clash there as Dixon blocks the leg kick.
Nick Game is winning the standup battle so far. Game takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Game throws a head kick that misses. A big right from Game misses. Dixon wants to clinch and Game counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Dixon is staying active underneath Game, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Nice strikes from Game there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dixon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Game's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Game's back! Dixon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Game trying to control the hands but Dixon won't let him. Dixon is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Game rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Game avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dixon. Dixon trying to control the action but Game is working from the bottom. Game tries to get to full guard but Dixon has control of the leg. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Game on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Ground and pound from Dixon. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Game dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Dixon goes for a double leg but Game avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Game continues to drive forward. Game has a couple of punches blocked by Dixon.
Nice body punch from Game. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Game. A quick uppercut on the inside from Game. Game tries to throw a body punch but Dixon avoids it by throwing Game back against the cage. Game lands a shoulder strike. Dixon has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Dixon drops down looking for an ankle pick but Game pulls his leg out and moves away.
Dixon ducks under a wild hook from Game. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dixon.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Game. Dixon shrugs it off though. Dixon throws an off balance right hand
and Game counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dixon won't be happy with that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Game wants to control but Dixon is keeping him busy. Game slows the pace down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Game lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Dixon down.
Dixon tries to get back to half guard but can't. Game scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Dixon to see if he's OK. Dixon has one of Game's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. Dixon is looking for a sweep. Dixon struggling a bit here. Dixon is not content to let Game control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dixon is looking to reverse the position. A lull in the action here. Dixon tries to improve position but can't. Dixon wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Game works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Game trying to control the position but Dixon is working away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dixon gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Game tries to pass to full mount but Dixon defends it. Dixon is controlling Game's trapped leg to prevent Game from advancing to side control. Nick Game is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Dixon trying to control from the bottom.
Dixon wants to control the action here but instead Game manages to pass to full mount! Game looking to control but Dixon is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Game avoids the attempt from Dixon to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Game tries to control but Dixon wriggling away. Dixon is trying desperately to improve position. Dixon is still trying to improve position. Game controlling from mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dixon is desperately trying to improve his position but Game has a good base and remains in mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Nick Game showed his dominance in that final round. Well Game has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
