Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Slice! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slice tries to clinch but Evans is having none of it. No luck for Slice with that takedown attempt. Evans tries for a takedown but Slice circles away easily and Slice counters with a head kick. Slice lands a two punch combo.

Evans missing with a left hand there. Slice was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Evans tries for a takedown but Slice circles away easily and Slice counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Evans is breathing heavily. Slice lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Slice dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Evans. That did some damage! Evans looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Slice lands with a slapping head kick. Evans throws a combination that misses and Slice counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Slice content to control rather than advance. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Slice lands strikes from half guard. Evans is refusing to be controlled, as Slice sits in half guard.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Evans tries to get out of the position. Evans is looking for a sweep. Slice is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Evans throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Slice takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Slice decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Evans drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Evans closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Slice to the mat! Slice manages to get full guard. Evans cracks Slice with a solid left hand. Slice thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Slice trying to strike off his back.

That's one minute gone in the round. Evans slips nicely into half guard. Evans seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Evans is thwarting Slice's attempts to control the position. Slice wants to get back to full guard. Evans knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slice on the ground. Slice is breathing heavily. Slice wants to get back to his feet. Evans looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. That's two minutes gone in the round. Evans content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Evans throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Slice controls Evans momentarily but Evans frees himself. Evans chips away with some ground and pound. Evans passes easily into side control. Nice work. Evans working the ground and pound. Slice taking a bit of punishment here - Evans scoring with strikes. Evans lands a nice forearm strike. Evans grinds an elbow into Slice's temple. Slice takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Evans working the ground and pound. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Slice. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Evans looks up at the clock and then as Slice takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Evans smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Slice has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Slice on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Evans working the head with strikes. Evans avoids the strikes from the bottom by Slice. Evans cracks Slice with a big elbow.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Evans is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Evans works his way into full mount! Slice is in a horrible position here. Evans smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Evans connects with a nice short shot to Slice's temple.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Slice shoots in but no luck this time. Evans shoots for a takedown but Slice saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Slice misses with a double jab
and Evans counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
And that's the end of the fight! Rob Evans showed his dominance in that final round. I think Evans has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
